The 79th
Independence Day was celebrated with great patriotism and enthusiasm. The occasion was graced by Sri
Mahesh N. Urs, Secretary, SJUET; Sri Srikantaraj Urs, Joint Secretary, SJUET;
and Sri Sreevatsa, Principal, SCSE.
The event commenced with a Guard of Honour followed by an impressive march past by the students. A vibrant lezim performance added colour and energy to the celebration.
In his address, the Chief Guest emphasized the need to respect the National Flag, highlighted the importance of the Indian Army, and encouraged students to aspire to join the armed forces. He also spoke about India’s scientific advancements and the responsibilities of every citizen towards the nation.
Students delivered speeches in Hindi, English, Kannada, and Sanskrit, covering diverse topics such as the role of education, national development, and progress in science and technology.
The program concluded with the distribution of sweets, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and unity.
