Launching of New School

Sri Jayachamaraja Ursu Education Trust launched a new school “Sri Chamarajendra School For Excellence” on 23.02.2023 which is marked as the 160th birthday of Sri Chamaraja Wadiyar X. The school and school logo were launched by SJUET Patron H H Dr. Pramoda Devi Wadiyar and recalled the contributions of Wadiyar in the field of education, agriculture and industries. The school website was launched by SJUET President H H Sri Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar. The chief guest of the programme was Dr. Shalvapillai Iyengar, Chairman of Ancient History and Archaeology, KSOU, Mysore. In his speech, he said that the school is reincarnation or new Avatar of old Boarding school. He stressed on the NEP 2020 and said knowledge or education should also provide the employability. Wadiyar   DDPI Ramachandra Raj Urs, special invitee recalled his student days at SCUBS for 11 years. The secretary Sri Mahesh N Urs, Vice President Smt. Sridhar Raj Urs, Joint Secretary Sardar Srikanta Raje Urs and other Trustees and members were present.
